Hi, i'm 48 years single parent my Dr. has prescribed me ovral l since I have severe stomach pain during my menstrual cycle but now since I came to knw it's a contraceptive pills is it ok to tke this pill how will it help me in relieving my stomach pain.

Ovral being a contraceptive will prevent ovulation. Also do an ultrasound to find out if you have Adenomyoses which may be causing pain during periods

Oral contraceptive pills are used in the treatment of pain during menstruation, especially when it is due to endometriosis. But as you are 48 yrs, it is better to do a scan pelvis to exclude other pelvic pathologies like, hyperplastic endometrium, ovarian cyst and fibroid uterus.
