Dear doctor, hope you are doing good in these uncertain covid19 times. I am 27 years old and I got my thyroid check done 2 months back (tsh levels are 53 and t3 and t4 are normal) post doctor consultation started using 150 mcg of thyronorm. Post 2 months of using 150 mcg of thyronorm when I got it checked only for tsh it shows 0.064. Please suggest the medication to be used.

Hello, thanks for the query. Madam, your tsh has gone too low, towards drug induced hyperthyroidism. It should be maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l for remaining free from all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. So now you will have to cut at least 25 mcg per day and start taking 125 mcg then check tsh after 6 weeks to see if desired level is reached or not. If you have any other question regarding this you can come back. Thanks.
