Dear lybrate-user, just the size of liver alone can not predict the stage of liver disease. You need to get liver function tests and other tests for other illnesses associated with alcohol. If you smoke, along with alcohol, the risk will be higher. Anyway quitting alcohol, will reverse changes in liver, if it is not cirrhotic. If consult your doctor regularly, she/he will prescribe for your withdrawal fatigue and other symptoms.

Hello. From just size of liver you cannot comment. You need to assess it with liver function test. If you quit, liver enzymes which if raised can be reversed to normal but it takes time which also depends on what liver changes you have. I would suggest seeking professional help to help you go through detoxification and help you remain sober.
