My father is suffering from liver cirrhosis, since last few days he is having continuous hiccups. We have given liofen, largactil tablet. But these tablets are also not working. please advice. His age is 65 yrs.

If seriously interested pl take support of Phyllanthus niruri, Andrographis and other herbs like boerhaavia , mandoor bhasma etc for effective recovery of cirrhosis. These are very simple herbs but consistency is needed. Pl consult if interested in ayurveda

In this case hiccups may be due to hyperacidity or hepatomegaly. Try to treat the cause , do not try to suppress the symptoms.
