I had used hydroquinone earlier for 1 week and my skin was cured. But now its getting dark soo after how much days or months should I re use hydroquinone.

Hydroquinone should not be used long term you can try other creams like kojic cream or kojivit plus for a month. Use a good sunscreen if it doesn't subside consult a dermatologist before restarting.

Hi Lybrate-user! most of the times, pigmentation will respond to azaelic acid /kojic acid /hydroquinone creams. But be sure to start the cream at night along with sunscreen application in the morning. Your skin seems to sensitive ,better you use mild cleanser to prevent from dryness and redness. Many procedures like chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, lasers etc can treat you better and give good results. Please do post pics or consult online for getting good guidance and treatment. Blood tests like cbpesr ,tsh, lft, rbs, s.ferritin levels, s.b12 levels need to be checked to know the underlying associations with pigmentation problems.
