I mis-carried at 19 weeks. This happened after I was admitted twice to the hospital for bleeding, first at 6 weeks the and 14 weeks. The painless bleeding would stop after a day. every time I bled, he would use a scan and could not see where the bleeding came from, and the baby was having a healthy heartbeat. Both times I had no pains and the doctor prescribed progesterone pills. This doctor has said that in my next pregnancy I would need to have a cervical cerclage done. I want to find out if this was normal procedure, was there something he could have done differently?
