My age is 23 and I have been suffering from knee pains for the past 20 days. I have no problem while bending or stretching my legs and they won't pain while sitting. If I attempt to stand up from a chair after sitting for a while and if I stand for some time or if I walk I am getting knee pain in both legs. I have never experienced this pain before. A month ago, I walked for 2 hours a day in the evening with rigorous high intensity. Is my pain related to that physical activity or due to some other reason? Please help me with my query.

Sharp knee pain when you stand up after sitting is often caused by patellofemoral pain syndrome. This condition is characterized by pain in the front of the knee and around the kneecap. It's also called 'runner's knee' or 'jumper's knee' and is common in athletes, though it can affect anyone. For the time being pl boil 5-10 leaves of harsingar tree (night jasmine) and drink about a glass twice a day or at least once only. Take shigru tablet 1 tab morning and evening daily. Do for 2 weeks and report.
