I have pcod problem. But my periods were regular I was not on any medicine but last period was on 14 May now this month I had no periods. I took regestrone 2 times for 3 days and I am also drinking oziva her balance Pcos. Last month I got my ultrasound done which says both ovaries have multiple follicles .right ovary measures 4.08*2.13*1.27 and left ovary says bigger in size measures-3.87*2.28*2.15 cm. Is it severe pcod and when my periods will come I am very much stressed.

The medication for PCOS requires minimum 6 months .Ultrasound findings of the follicles are important in evaluating the severity of the disease. If the follicles are maturing, you have better chance for ovulation.

Hello! You need to take progesterone tablet for atleast 5-7 days and then stop. After stopping within a week you will get your periods. Yes the ovaries are bigger but this is common in PCOS. Try lifestyle modifications to lose atleast 5 Percent of the weight in the form of diet and exercise.

Severe pcod depends on the symptoms not just ultrasound findings. Whether you are obese or have abnormal hair growth etc. Take regesterone like before or if you want to wait for sometime, amenorrhea upto you months can be allowed. You can get your thyroid and prolactin levels checked. Also maintain your weight with healthy lifestyle and diet.
