I am 44 years old. hysterectomy was done to me at the time of the birth of my second baby 14 years back i.e. In march 2007. ovaries are present now. Still I have no problems from past 14 years but recently I have observed light spotting from vagina. It has been observed rarely and lightly. I also experiencing some pain at the time of intercourse. Please tell me reason and treatment. Is this a serious issue? Please give reply. Thank you very much.

Hello, the reason could be vaginal nodule or polyp or a possible vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia. Please get a vault swab culture done.
