Mor. Dr.i m 60 years male. Suffering anxiety (repeated same thoughts) since last 2 yrs. Changed 3 drs's but not yet fully recovered. Since last 10 days Dr. prescribed clonafit-beta also taken bp med. Telmikind-40 & rosavastin 20 with ecosprin 75. Since 3 yrs. Pl suggests should I cant clonafit beta or some other and for how long duration. Because Dr. doesn't prescribed the duration. And advice me to take in the mor. I am also facing sleepiness problem.

Therapy will help you manage anxiety and it's related thoughts with certain skills, strategies and techniques. Especially cognitive behaviour therapy is proven and widely used to treat anxiety disorders. Therapy will also help you in the long term. I do not think so that would be ideal. Kindly consult an astute psychiatrist in person for your obsessive thoughts and secondary anxiety. It is common for medications to not work. But you should have taken them for 2-4 weeks ideally initially and ssri, if it doesn't work there is a protocol on approach. Good luck.
