Since you are already a diabetes patient, it is necessary to maintain fbg < 100 mg & pp also < 140 mg. In fact during the gestational period your glucose has to be maintained between 90 to 120 mg through out the 24 hours period for proper development of the fetus (baby) and for desired outcome of the pregnancy. So it is necessary that even in the first few weeks of pregnancy a strict glucose control is essential. So you will have to consult your ob & gyn doctor and a physician. I hope you understand the need for this. Plus you will have to go on insulin once pregnancy is detected or better if you start that much earlier.
