I was prescribed bupron sr 150 mg (after dinner, once/day) by my psychiatrist when I was feeling anxious after I quit marijuana. I have been taking that for 6 days now. This course is for a month. Some other symptoms I was having issues was shortness of breath & fast heart rate, slight botheration in the chest. So I visited a physician after taking my test reports & ecg & chest x-ray. Everything was fine with the heart and he had prescribed me pantozil-40 (before breakfast & dinner), alergard-m (after dinner) & etilaam 0.5 mg (before bedtime) all this is a 10 days course. My question is are the combination of all these medicines fine?

You were probably experiencing withdrawal symptoms of Marijuana... if not severe, then symptoms will gradually go away with medicines... have healthy diet and do some relaxation exercises...

Dear lybrate-user, the combination of all these are fine at present so that you don't need marijuana to reduce your anxiety. But it is not only 10 days or 1 month course. You need 12 weekly motivational enhancement therapy and later long term follow up to prevent relapse and using other substances.

Dear user, these are withdrawal symptoms, you have to keep patient and to take the medication when your body needs, ask your physician or psychiatrist for the combination of drugs, relax and fight with your thoughts, okay.

Stay strong mentally and physically. These sound like withdrawal symptoms only. I would advice trusting your psychiatrist fully and taking your medications properly. I would also suggest taking counselling from someone specializing in addiction counselling and going for both individual and group therapy for faster results.
