Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the query. The glucose levels mentioned are definitely higher showing your current treatment is not helping you at all. There is a need to look at the overall treatment and upgrade it. We need to look at the dietary pattern extent of daily exercises and drug treatment. I am sure you are aware that in a well controlled diabetes patient fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% considering your age. So please come back with following details: fasting, pp glucose of the day, hba1c%, lipid profile, serum creatinine, urea, height, dietary pattern extent of daily exercise and bp readings, preferably in a private conversation then I will be able to guide specifically and prescribe the necessary medication if required. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no drugs can be prescribed. If you are not willing to for online consultation, please contact your local physician and get the necessary upgrade done. I await your response. Thanks.
