I am 47 yo male. Have hypertension since last 6-7 years and taking losartan-50 1 od.in echo, it was diagnosed that my left ventricular pump is taking extra effort to pump blood. Now, since last few weeks i'm monitoring my bp is showing 190-120. No other complication. Pls suggest, do I need to get the medicine changed? What else I should do to control my bp? I'm a teetotaller, non-smoker, generally vegetarian and take low sodium diet, low sugar contents and no process food.

Your bp showing 190-120 is quite high or there may be some error. Contact your cardiologist without delay.
