Dear Lybrate user, it must be really hard going through this since your adolescence, and so sorry for your loss. Although medications do help, they sometimes give you symptomatic relief only, a combination of medication and psychological counseling/therapy works best. It is important to deal with grief, teenage emotional disturbances and therapy can help you with that. Grief counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy can help in dealing with your concerns. Therapy can also help you in the long term, venting it out, getting insights into thought patterns, dealing with and changing these patterns, learning strategies and skills that are given in therapy can help you manage and cope with these disturbances. Please consult a psychologist. Getting the right help, will definitely help with all your concerns. And once you've learned to manage them, you can also reduce your dependence on medications. All the best. If you need help you can contact me as well through Lybrate.

Dear Lybrate user, life journey is not smooth for many, but one need to prepare their vehicle and path to make it comfortable to reach the destination. Medicines it not the only solution, share you emotions with your friends and family, start doing mediation, try to find out your things which makes you feel good and engage yourself with positive thoughts. Meet a counselor/therapist to resolve it instead of increasing medicine doses. Thanks.

You are on adequate dose of medications. A mood stabiliser for augmentation and cbt (cognitive behaviour therapy) would do lot's of good for further improvement. Discuss with your treating psychiatrist. Good luck.

Anxiety Stress patients worry too much...Stress In today?s day & age where stress is high, feelings of frustration can emerge. It is our perception that can change our current negative situation into a healthy & positive one. Another way of perceiving these feelings of frustration can be by looking at them as an opportunity to push ourselves to go that little extra mile until we achieve our objective. However, there are times when we all can go around in circles; and being in this space can be quite upsetting and lead to feelings of dissatisfaction, frustration and can even cloud our mind and judgment.
