The medicines given appear good and appropriate for your condition, based on what you have conveyed. Depressive symptoms sometimes take longer to remit. Clomipramine does act on ocd and depression as well. So keep working with your psychiatrist, am sure you will recover soon. Good luck. Â

The medicines you are taking is good for your condition and that you are feeling good is also a good sign. You can talk to your doctor about your depression. S/he may tweak the dosage to improve your response. Your condition is quite serious and you cannot rely on medication alone. My advice to you is to combine it with counseling for the best results and for a long time. You will learn coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges you will face. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime, you can do certain things that will give you benefits anyway. Emotional therapy will alleviate a lot of the problems faced in this condition because it is a mood disorder. You need to particularly look at your levels of anger both for its reasonableness and to express it in appropriate manner. I suspect that much of this anger may have origins in early childhood that you may never be aware of it now. Talk to your parents and explore that angle. This information will help the counselor too. Also you will need to check whether there is any genetic factor involved. You must exercise regularly, eat healthily and sleep normally too. If your motivation and cooperation is good much can be achieved. You must have a time-structured schedule filled with interesting and reasonable activities and it must be monitored for compliance and delivery. The reason I say this is that many times you will be inclined to have grandiose notions and confidently believe that you can do without the medication. This will set you back many months in the treatment and delay and sabotage the recovery: forewarned you are forearmed. If this combination of medication with therapy is maintained for at least three years without any episodes or breakdowns, it is possible to taper the medication in consonance with the doctor. Â

Let me be very clear my friend that i have gone through the same even after being a life-coach and corporate trainer(even we are humans) So, let me give you my share of tips Its ok to be in anxiety and overthinking. When we are happy we smile, when we are sad we frown, when things don?t go our way we get angry and when do not manage stress and time well, we get to this stage. You are absolutely normal like millions on this planet. 2. List down all your dreams and tasks(may be funny or weird ones) in a diary and start fulfilling them by this very moment because you need to spend time with yourself during the case of overthinking and anxiety. You need a change. Change is inevitable. 3. Go solo somewhere to the hills and start recording your fear and pain. Take them out. If you need a listener then you may talk to me. I have listened and spoken to more than 600 people here since Lockdown and they are happy. why? Because they did not want sympathy or solution, they wanted a listener. No one can give you a concrete solution to your problem. you need to figure it out yourself. 4. Try not to spoil your life. Your life has been given to you by your parents. we do not have any right to spoil it. I request you to not take any such step which i took to end my life. I realized i do not have any right. Its the time to give the same or better life to our parents which they gave to us when we were kid because as they grow older, the roles reversed 5. Pick up a sport or music. Its ok! shit happens! you are not alone. Spend your time learning some music or playing some sport. Talk to people who were depressed and came out a long way. spend sometime with them Talk to your family and/or parents.Â
