Hello doctors, I am a student and I have to study from the laptop for around 9-10 hours a day. For the past few days, I am feeling some kind of itchiness in my eyes even though I use glasses with anti-glare and blu while on screens. Also, I have a power of around -1.0 for both eyes my diet is also good (healthy diet) and sleep is also good at around 7-8 hours. Before sleep, I use an eye-soothing cream which helps in reducing strain and make my eyes relax. But I think I should add omega-3 into my diet. Could you please suggest to me whether I add it or not into my diet? If yes then please suggest to me (brand) which one should I consider before buying. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Eye allergies, whether seasonal or year-round, are often the cause of itchy eyes. These allergies can be triggered by pollen or pet dander. Irritants like dust and smoke, or products such as lotions, makeup or contact lens solutions can also cause symptoms similar to those of eye allergies. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
