Two laparoscopy has been done on me for endometriosis in past 4 years. Now I have 3.5 cm complex hemorrhagic cyst on my right side. Dr. Told me to do ca 125 test and in my ca 125 reports the level is 35.1.what does dis mean? Ovarian cancer. Meanwhile Dr. put me on novelon for 3 months. Kindly, tell me what I do now? As of I know cyst are non cancerous. What is normal level of ca 125? In google it shows 46 u/ml.

Ca 125 levels upto 35 are considered normal Yours is borderline. This is because of endometrioses. You can take Novelin this month, but Dinogest would be preferred

Raised ca 125 can indicate a cancerous change which can occur in cysts. Your level is just at the upper level (0-35) which can happen in endometriosis and doesn't show so as of now take the medicine prescribed and further treatment will be decided based on the shrinking or increase of the cyst.

It's not cancer. Even in endometriosis ca 125 is raised.
