Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. If a person is pre-diabetic then there is no drug treatment advised o control blood glucose. Basically good lifestyle changes which include diet control and exercise are advised. Since you are already on 1500 mg of metformin a day and still glucose is high, is suggestive of having diabetes. Please check your hba1c% also fasting and pp glucose. In prediabetes blood glucose is :fasting 101 to 125 mg, pp 141 to 199 mg & hba1c% 5.7% to 6.4%. Also do a lipid profile and come back with all the details in a private conversation. In this communication we are supposed to give only general advise, no drugs can be prescribed. Or else please consult your local physician. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.

I can see that you are taking tablets for diabetes rather than prediabetes.
