Hello take as advised by Dr. He advised based on your current reports. If you want to stop insulin I suggest you to take homeopathic treatment along with insulin. Once sugar levels are normal we will slowly cut off insulin.

Hello, thanks for the query. From the query it is not clear whether patient's age is 20 years or 55 years. Secondly it is also not clear whether there is t1 or t2 diabetes. The information is too scanty. It is necessary to know exact age, height, weight, whether t2 or t1 diabetes when diagnosed and whether only on insulin or both oral as well as insulin. Because in t1 diabetes only insulin works. No ther oral drug can be used. Secondly has there been any test done to see if there is adequate insulin secretion (beta cell activity, c- peptide secretion). The glucose levels mentioned are too high, suggesting totally uncontrolled diabetes. This is very bad can lead to serious complications associated with diabetes affecting various vital organs and systems. So the suggestion is please come back with following information: fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, drugs being taken with dosage (including insulin), lipid profile, weight, height, dietary details, extent of daily exercise and any other tests have been done. It is better to come in a private conversation with all the necessary details. Thanks.

You probably need to take insulin long-term to keep your sugars under control under the supervision of your doctor. In lean diabetics with very high blood sugars, insulin should be continued probably lifelong
