Sir, I am 21 years old and I recently got diagnosed with keratoconus. My doctor told me as I am 21 there are very high chances of it to be progressive so I should get c3r done but also told me I can wait for 6 months. I am worried that will my keratoconus will get more worse in 6 months or I can wait for it. Please suggest!

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Ultimately, the progression of keratoconus is unpredictable. This can happen quickly or over a period of several years. It usually begins around puberty and progresses fastest up till you turn 25. The younger someone is at their diagnosis, the more likely they will experience fast progression. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
