My son is two years old. He brushes his teeth twice a day using kidodent tooth paste. But he does not spit the brushed paste. He often swallows them. Doctor I want to know whether any problems would affect him or wat.

Just apply a smear of toothpaste (like a paint) that will be sufficient. Upto 5 years you can do the same. And assist him when he is brushing.

It can lead to some problem but its always better if he spits, use a very small amount of toothpaste 1/4th - 1/2 the size of a pea, not more. The kid toothpaste are specially designed with reduced fluoride contents to prevent any problems with ingestion of the paste, but its always better if you put him to the habit of spitting.
