Hi I am 35-year-old female. I have a high bp range 160/100 in 2020 end. Though I was planning for second pregnancy my physician put me on nicardia retard 10 mg twice a day throughout the pregnancy. After delivery my bp shoots to 180 and I have been instructed to take nicardia retard 20 mg twice a day. Now I have 3 month old baby and my physician slowly decreasing nicardia and prescribed concor 5 mg during afternoon. Now I am taking morning 10 mg nicardia, afternoon concor 5 and night nicardia 10 mg. Now all my bp readings are almost 110/65. Should I need to reduce the dosage? Please suggest.

Ideal blood pressure goals depend on what pre existing disease the patient has. If no other disease then the target blood pressure is less than 130/80 mm hg. So make sure you get your blood pressure measured by a doctor and if consistently readings are below 130/80 mm hg then medications can be slowly decreased.
