Hi, I am having abdominal pain on left side along with back pain on same left side. I have visited doctor and they gave me medicines for uti (niftas 100). My question is I am planning for baby and this is my ovulation week. Can we still continue trying for baby while taking uti antibiotics medicines.

No problem. In the future always tell the doctor about your period date and you trying for a baby even if you go to the doctor for any reason.

Dear lybrate-user, in general, it is advised that during an ongoing active infection, it is better to get the infection treated, and then plan pregnancy, as health is more important. Also, some antibiotics are not to be taken when planning pregnancy. But in case you do conceive this month, be rest assured that the antibiotic prescribed to you will not harm the baby.
