I have diabetes taking glycomet 500 sr once in the morning before food and fasting is 105 and ppbs 150 and taking olmy 20 mg bp - 117/73 and sugar is normal and I feel very anxiety why this happening.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have gone through the details mentioned. Your blood glucose levels (both fasting & pp) are quite normal, suggesting very good control. Even the bp is also with in the normal range. As regarding "feeling of anxiety" it is difficult say why such a thing has happened. Some times if blood glucose goes too low < 70 mg a diabetes patient is likely to feel uneasy and many other symptoms including anxiety can occur. That tends to happen when a person has either insulin or glimiperide for glucose control. With metformin it is unlikely to happen. This may be a chance occurring. Next time if such an issue occurs, please check your blood glucose to see if it has gone too low. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
