My wife pregnant 7 months doctor prescribed ascoril but last 8 days not cured cold and cough everyday steam is going on I also from taken ayurvedic syrup adulsa is safe or not suggest any good medicine.

Good quality herbal medicine is safe bet. Also steaming with eucalyptus oil drops in water (not necessarily) are helpful.

Hi since your wife is pregnant, we wouldn't suggest any cough syrup, not even ayurvedic on your own. You need to consult an ayurvedic doctor before taking even an ayurvedic over the counter drug. Good saline gargles, not too much steam inhalation, immunity boosters can help with initial cough. But if dealing with cough hampering her daily activity she might need more.
