Hello doctor. I am a 42-years-old female and I am suffering from thyroid. I am a working woman and I am under a lot of stress due to my office. My thyroid is continuously on the rise despite taking regular medicines and following a healthy routine. Doctor please tell me does stress affect thyroid?

Yes, stress can become a crucial factor in making your thyroid even worse. Stress, however, cannot be the primary cause of thyroid disorder. Stress slows down your body's metabolism that eventually leads to weight gain and other health issues
