Inspiral 10 mg sr is prescribed to my 6 year old son. 1-2 hrs after taking this, he becomes very uncomfortable and very nervous, and doesn't want to be with ppl around. Wherever he is, he insists on returning to home. Although his focus span and sitting tolerance increases. I am confused about whether to continue with inspiral or not.

Hi lybrate-user, I believe a 6 year old child is too young to be exposed to medication. You should consult a psychologist and go for occupational therapy which will help develop your child's ability for better attention span and sitting. Take regular special education classes for academic support and counselling sessions from a psychologist for behaviour modification.

Probably he is having adverse drug reaction with inspiral. You need to discuss with your psychiatrist to consider switching to other drug for adhd like atomoxetine.
