The combination seems somewhat dubious, you have 3 benzodiazepines there, clonazepam in next plus, etizolam in etilam s and chlordiazepoxide in libotryp. Benzodiazepines over a period of time become tolerant, lose efficacy and can cause side effects. So better consult a psychiatrist and get your entire prescription revised and hopefully may be after few weeks or months your anxiety/ depression and sleep can be brought under control without benzodiazepines, but with safer medications. Good luck.

Your verbatim says you have decreased medicines. Previously you were taking nexito plus, tryptomer, etilaam s10 & libotryp, now you are taking lonazep 0.5 mg and tryptomer 25 mg. That means among typical sleep medicines, previously you were taking clonazepam 0.5 mg (in nexito plus), etizolam 0.5 mg (in etilaam s 10), chlordiazepoxide 5 mg (in libotryp) and now you are taking just clonazepam 0.5 mg (in lonazep 0.5). If it is so, then all your symptoms are due to abrupt drug withdrawal. If it is not so, then you have developed tolerance to sleeping pills. The treatment you have got from last 5 years is free from logic or you have self medicated. Because a doctor has good understanding that advising multiple sleeping pills to a person will make him dependent some day, so usually after a week or two, the doctor starts pulling out sleeping pills from the prescription rather than increasing the numbers of same so that a person don't get hooked over same or become dependent on it. It's in your best interest if you consult a credible psychiatrist in-person and discuss your condition in detail.

Hi lybrate-user. In addition to medicines, addressing what's keeping you awake and making you anxious might be more helpful. I practice cbt and use various relaxation techniques to help with sleep, overthinking and anxiety. Setting a pre-bed routine and getting some physical activity can help you. Switching off your devices an hour before can be beneficial as well.
