Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, the information is too inadequate to give any suggestions. In t2 dm a few patients do need insulin (usually a basal one like glargine or similar) to achieve better blood glucose control. As you have not mentioned anything about current glucose levels (fasting & pp), no hba1c%, nothing about drugs being taken being taken and your age, it is very difficult comment any further. One important aspect is that looking at your weight and height with a bmi (body mass index) of 29 kg/sq meter you are almost in grade 1 obesity and have an excess of over 17 kg.
