My mother is 55 years of age. Her heart rate becomes 175 only for 7-10 minutes and after that becomes normal. This episode happens only once in a year which last only 7-10 minutes. Please advice.

Hello dear, sudden increase in heart rate without any cause could be due to something called as arrhythmias. In arrhythmias there is sudden increase in heart rate and its of different types according the management changes I would suggest you to get some investigation done. For better understanding of her condition have a private consultation via call or message so that we can work on making a definitive diagnosis and advising appropriate medicines.
