I found my tsh level 5.27 and was taking 100 mg thyroxine tablet before checking tsh. So what dose I need to take now?

Hi maam, it is not clear whether you have done self medication or undergo any physician. If there is self medication then you should take consultation immediately. Tsh 5.27 is not so high to take thyroxin of 100 mcg thanks.

Although tsh is well in range but there are many conditions where we need tsh less than 2.5 like pregnancy. Are you using tata /tata lite iodised salt in salad and fruits. Are you taking tab. Thyroxine empty stomach with gap of at least one hour for tea or milk. Avoid calcium ,iron ,soya in breakfast. Avoid cabbage in diet.
