I have been taking lamotrigine 200. Sertraline 100 for 10 years for depression. How long do I need to take it. please suggest.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. As you are aware, depression is a neuro chemical disorder and therefore the treatment should be targeted towards enhancing or reducing those chemicals biologically. But these medicines are used for maintaining the balance. In that sense, with the present medicines, you will have to continue forever. I suggest online cognitive therapy. Take care.
