I was suffering from anxiety which is now fully treated and I am normal now ,i am having tryptomer 10 mg and betacap plain 20 mg for lat 2 years ,having normal sleep and no symptoms of anxiety now ,can I stop medicines now ,age is 62 years.

Medicines need to be gradually tapered and stopped and not abruptly, consult your treating psychiatrist or any other psychiatrist for the same. If the neurotransmitters in your mind maintain the stability there may not be any recurrence if they don’t the symptoms can recur for which they might have to be restarted. Good luck.

If aren't having any symptoms since the past 2 years and this was your first episode 2 years back then medications can be tapered and stopped.
