I am 42 years old and having diabetes for last 5 years, taking glycomet gp 0.5 in morning and night for last 6 months. My current glucose fasting is 117 and hba1c is 8.2. Last time hba1c it was 10+. Do I need to worry about hba1c 8.2.

Hello, thanks for the query. The fasting glucose should ideally be <100 mg and hba1c% < 6.5%, considering your young age. So there's a need to look at overall treatment like drugs, dosage, dietary pattern, weight, exercise & lipid profile. So please talk to your physician and get the necessary upgrade. Or come back with all the details in a private conversation so that I can be of help. Thanks.
