Pain/discomfort in left side upper teeth but no cavities. Got that checked by two doctors. Did saltwater rinse and applied metrohex gel as well. But when some food touches my teeth, sometimes there is pain for a second. Unable to eat freely from left side. Is that a gum disease? Please help.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Decay between the teeth can also cause pain. You may need deep cleaning or root canal treatment & capping. Until then apply clove oil on the tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.
