Hello Doctor's, I am having panic disorder and was feeling depressed before 2 months . My doctor prescribed me Stalopam lite for 1 month and tapered dose for 15 days. I was taken that but now again I'm feeling disturbed so can I take Stalopam lite for 5 days?

Dear lybrate-user, please understand your panic disorder well. Stalopam lite needs to be taken for months. Can not be stopped so soon. Please consult your doctor about your disturbance before increasing the dose. You can also add cognitive therapy of knowing the situation of panic attacks, equating your symptoms to grave disease or death etc. For example you have to question whether heart beating is equal to heart attack and death. For that you have to consult more frequently a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist who is trained in cbt.
