Dear Sir, 3 months back my mother had a heart attack. She had an angioplasty surgery now she is fine but some of my seniors say that it is just a preliminary step, she needs to have bypass surgery at the earliest. Kindly advise.

If There is one block & it has been cleared with the help of a stent & she takes care about health of heart with the help of food,exercise,medicines & other preventive factors which must have been explained to you & her, It is Not Must that she will get another attack due to new blockages.
