Female 37 yrs. Fell heavily on left knee against edge of a pavement. I continued walking for 1.5 hrs, used many stairs, had to travel in bus and got off running bus twice on affected left leg. All within 3 hrs. I ignored pain for 2-3 days thinking it was small issue. Now there is a black patch under the knee but skin is not broken. I'm able to walk forward without pain but turns are painful. Now right side of knee is painful and spreading up and down leg. Is this serious like dislocation or hairline fracture. Will it show up on x-ray? Please advise.
