Is BCAA (Branch Chain Amino Acid) good for diabetes patient? It is an energy drink which is taken before workout. It contains L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-valine. Can someone suggest is it good to intake BCAA for diabetes patient?

Thanks for writing. As per my personal opinion goes many researches are being conducted on this topic. Bcaas (leucine in particular) is known to activate mtor, which in turn, increases insulin (up to 220%). Many doctors does not recommend this drink in diabetes as chronically stimulating the pancreas to release this large amount of insulin can cause insulin resistance.
