Hello, my daughter is 5+ n she is having fever n boils r coming all over her body. I think she is going through chickepox. Please suggest me. To get rid of this.

In chickenpox the erythematous rashes starts from the trunk. Initially the rashes are red then it becomes vesicular (dew drop) following which scabs form. It usually takes 7-10 days for the rashes to heal completely. There is no specific treatment. Apply some calamine lotion to soothen the skin and take oral anti allergic like cetrizine. Antibiotic may be needed if there is any chance of secondary infection. There may be other causes of rashes with fever. Please attach the picture so that I better able to help you out. Regards.
