Hi First of all make sure your diabetes and blood pressure are very well maintained. By keeping them normal you'll be preventing further damage to your eyes. Laser treatment prevents the progression of retinopathy but does not cure it. Sometimes Lazer itself can cause loss of side vision as the new blood vessels are shrunken. There are some injectable growth factors which may help you. Please talk to your ophthalmologist regarding the same.
