Respected Sir Being anxious and having a heart rate of 168/min is definitely not ok. But since you mentioned that it is your maximum heart rate, it could be nothing as Holter generally measures maximum, minimum and average heart rates in 24 hrs. So if the doctor felt that your average heart rate is fine and there are no variations, you should be fine. However you could try yoga, relaxation exercises or just regular exercises to reduce your anxiety. Also make sure you sleep well and eat a balanced diet. If you still feel you are anxious, kindly consult with a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and to get treatment recommendations. Thank you and Take care to remain Stress free.
