I went to neurologist in 2013. He prescribed me antidepressants for 6 months; as a result of that I suffer from depression symptoms. Now whom should I consult? I suffer from many symptoms now.

Dear lybrate-user. You need to consult Psychiatrist now. Antidepressants do not cause depression. There is strong possibility that you might be having depressive symptom at the time of consultation with neurologist and dose and type of antidepressant was not suitable to you. Antidepressant medicines do not cause depression. These medicines reduce & cure Depression. If after treatment also your depressive symptoms are increasing, then better take opinion of a Psychiatrist, as either the medicine is not helping you or the dose have to be adjusted.
