Hello Doctor, I am going through a treatment of syncope attacks from last 2.5 years. And as per my doctor ,i have to continue it for at least an year more. But I have found highly negative effects of it in my nature. I get mood swings very very frequently, my temper goes high on a very stupid and tiny things. I really really feel very much depressed these days. Many a times I feel like bursting out everything on someone but for a reason or two I am unable to do so. I cannot share with anyone about how I feel etc. A lot of times I feel like hurting myself, scratching of my wrist, sometimes thoughts of suicide. Sometimes it feels like i'll surely go mad or out of my senses some day. I am really very much depressed please help me out without medications because I already have to consume alot for my ongoing treatment. Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi lybrate-user, I can understand your feelings. As your doctor has said that it will take another year to complete the treatment so allow yourself that time and accept it fully. Once the acceptance come from within it would be easier to cope with the symptoms. I would suggest you to start some relaxation exercise. You should do pranayam exercises for at least fifteen minutes a day Go for a brisk walk (if your doctor allows) daily for half an hour with sports shoes on. Have healthy breakfast. Listen some soothing music and have good laugh watching funny videos on YouTube. Also write diary of your feelings. Have lots of salad and water in your diet. Keep yourself busy in some positive activities. Follow these advices and you will feel better. All the best.
