My daughter is suffering from frequent panic/ anxiety attacks. Tried a lot of treatments and counselling but nothing helped. So much so that now she refuses to open up to any counsellor. She is looking for medication that will help her.

Anxiety and panic attacks are easily treatable with medications as the reason is reduced serotonin in mind (brain). Counselling will help for only very very mild cases. You have been doing injustice by not taking her to a psychiatrist for such a long time. Do not delay further and consult soon. All the best.
