after root canal treatment tooth becomes brittle and might fracture. so to prevent the tooth fracture a cap is given.

Cap helps your teeth to strengthen and bear more load over them so its better to have cap because after RCT in most of cases the teeth become brittle as comparison to natural teeth.

Hello, it is always better to get the cap done over a root canal treated tooth. The tooth can get cracked under pressure. So visit a dentist and get it done.
