On 21.08.2016 my serum TSH was 8.53 uIU/ml. Per Docs advice I took Thyroxine 25 mcg for 2 months. On 30.01.2017 the values were T3=71, T4=5.1 but TSH=6.11. Per advice I took Thyronorm for 1.5 moths. The Values on 05.04.2017 are T3=57, T4=4.1 but TSH=6.63. Pl advise further. Test were done by Thyrocare.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. If you are on treatment with Levothyroxine and taking adequate dose, then TSH should be maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms of hypothyroidism will be in check. So if the level is 6.63 mU/L, then dose needs to be increased.
