My tsh was 1.2 in january, now my tsh is .01, I have been taking 75 mg thyronorm for past 6 months. I have a 3 month old baby. How much thyronorm should I continue with? Thanks Sangeet.

Hello, Thanks for the query. If present TSH level is 0.01 mU/L, then dosage of 75 mcg per day is high. Reduce it by12. 5 mcg, and check TSH after 6 weeks. If the level is still very low, then reduce to 50 mcg. Per day. A gradual reduction is better. You should maintain TSH between 3 to 4 mU/L when on adequate treatment. Thanks.
