Hello sir. Am having a really bad depression. I feel completely depressed and stressed. My sister also faces this problem bt I don't know from which point did her depression start. Bt I know mine actually I didn't do well in my entrance examination and my friends who were with me completely they went outside some cracked the exams. I feel isolated. The worry of my career about what to do now makes me feel stressed I don't want to waste this year as my friends who were with me will go one class senior from me. As today I have nothing to do my day starts at 12 and then I sit idol, go to my aunt's house come back and use mobile phone and then sleep. This is my regular schedule th so today over thinking various things. Sometimes don't even knw what's going on there in the mind. Bt something goes on and on and on which has resulted in less concentration to other things, lame response towards any other person, confusion in understanding things, reading one thing so many times. And I even don't know about me like where I am this moment where i'll be at the next moment. Please help me.

The negative you are talking about is something that eveyone experiences after a failure. Your inactivity life style having its added effects. First decide the priority in your life- whether you want to try again to crack the entrance exam and join the course Which you are interested in. In that case plan a schedule and strart the preparation for the same on a full time basis. Even you can join some training Institute so that it keeps you engaged. But if you feel that studying one year behind your batch mates is more damaging to your self esteem then join some other alternative course, and initiate the necessary steps for it. But even before that you need to change your lethargic life style. Try to get up early inthe morning, do some physical excersices to make yourself physically and mentally active, keep yourself engaged in some productive activities throughout the day, improve your realtime social contacts and preferably see to it that you are away from your home or any other relative's home where you can rest, atleast during the daytime. If all these does not help you meet a clinical psychologist.
